2024-25 Community Winter Soccer Sessions
We will run 2 sessions at the Cougar Dome:
Nov 5th/7th to Jan 7th/9th
Jan 14th/16th to Mar 4th/6th
(no soccer from Dec 23rd - Jan 3rd for holiday break)
Winter Skill Sessions
Tuesdays 6-7 p.m. U5
Tuesdays 7-8 p.m. U7
Thursdays 6-7 p.m. U9
Thursdays 7-8 p.m. U11
We have also added a skill session for U13 players on Wednesday nights from 7-8 p.m. (November - January session only)
Boys 13-17 Tuesday nights 8-9
Girls 13-17 Thursday nights 8-9
This program is aimed at Community players who want to come out and play a game with friends.
Registration will be offered to Competitive players if there are open spots.
Important registration information
- Registration opens October 1st
- Limit 16 players per age group.
- Registration for both sessions opens on October 1st. We ask parents to register for one or the other - not both sessions.
- There will be a wait list.
- Players must pay their registration, or make payment arrangements, prior to the first night to participate. Unpaid spots will be offered to the next name on the waitlist.
2024-25 Competitive Winter Soccer Registration
We will be opening up our 2024-25 competitive team registration on Tuesday, September 3rd
Registration closes October 3rd.

Teams - U13 (2012-2013)/U15 (2010-2011)/U18 (2007-2009) Boys and Girls
Teams will be competing in the winter indoor season of the Nova Scotia Soccer League
U13 game day - Sundays
U15/U18 game day - Saturdays
Games start November 2nd/3rd (U18AA start November 9th)
Winter break December 21st-29th
Regular season ends February 8th/9th
Playoffs start February 15th/16th
Championship weekend March 1st/2nd
Games are played at indoor facilities - primarily the BMO Soccer Centre in Halifax, but can be scheduled in other communities including Lantz, Stellarton and Bridgewater
The games are 50 minutes long (2-25 minute halves)
Teams play with seven players on the field at a time
Cost - 350.00
If we have enough players registered in an age group to have 2 teams, evaluations will take place to determine what division players/teams will play
If we do not have enough players for a team, efforts will be made to accommodate players where possible
We currently have indoor practice facilities booked for Sunday, Monday and Friday evenings. Once we know the number of teams, we will be finalizing a practice schedule.
We encourage you to register as soon as possible if your player is interested in joining us for the winter season.
Payment is not required until the first team practice. Payment plans can be arranged.
We will be offering community level skill sessions for U11 players and younger, as well as our Teen Scrimmage nights for 13-18 year olds. More information to come.
